Discover@Bolton has a translation feature so that the user interface and search options are displayed in languages other than English.

Language options include (among others):

  • Arabic
  • Chinese
  • French
  • Korean
  • Spanish

How to translate the user interface of Discover@Bolton

Run a search on Discover@Bolton from the library homepage. Once on the results screen, select the Settings menu in the top right hand corner (the option that resembles three horizontal bars).

The Settings menu on Discover@Bolton, with the language set to English by default

The language will be set to English (UK) by default. Select English (UK), then select the language of your choosing.

When you follow links from Discover@Bolton to resources such as ebooks and journal articles they will not be translated. But it may still be possible to translate them using the settings on those platforms.

See our other language settings FAQs for instructions on platforms including ProQuest and EBSCO.
